Do you know the ‘Boehner Birthday Song’?

SHARE Do you know the ‘Boehner Birthday Song’?

House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, has a special birthday song, has no problem using it in public, and apparently is a fan of Tony Danza.

Danza told Seth Myers on Monday night how about the time he was enjoying a birthday dinner at Patsy’s in Manhattan, when they were told Boehner was in the house.

They swung by to say hi, and one of Danza’s friends told Boehner it was Danza’s birthday.

“He jumps up … and he says ‘what do we do for birthdays’ to his family, and they do this birthday song,” Danza said. “It’s not too long.”

In fact, Boehner has performed it numerous time, including on the House floor.

It’s much better than anything you’ll be treated to at a chain restaurant while you’re delivered a free dessert.

In fact, we’re a little choked up.
