Police are warning local restaurants about four recent robberies in the Southwest Side Garfield Ridge and Clearing neighborhoods.

In each case, an armed suspect comes in and demands cash, Area Central detectives said in a business alert.

Two of the robberies happened in the 6400 block of West 63rd Street, one in the early morning hours of Jan. 1 and another on the evening of Jan. 7, police said.

Two more robberies happened Tuesday morning, one in the 5400 block of South Harlem and another in the 4700 block of South Cicero, police said.
