SHARE Tigers roll past Walther for first win in Metro Suburban East

Elmwood Park opened the season with a win over Northtown Academy and that was the last victory the Tigers would claim for more than a month, as the team suffered through an 11-game losing streak.

It was a trying time for the Tigers, testing their will and determination. But with a 65-35 Metro Suburban East home win Saturday over Walther Christian, Elmwood Park (3-12, 1-5) has won 66 percent of its last three games.
