Bank robbed in Addison

(ADDISON) A Bank of American branch was robbed Friday afternoon in west suburban Addison.

The robbery happened at 2:22 p.m. at the Bank of America at 350 W. North Ave. in Addison, according to the FBI.

The robber is described as a Hispanic male, standing about 5-foot-10, wearing a white beanie hat, a black jacket and jeans, the FBI said.

Additional details on the robbery were not immediately available early Saturday.
