The Eisenhower locker room at halftime Friday night was a quiet one.

The coaching staff had just one message for Cardinals player for the second half against Reavis.

“We didn’t talk about much because we knew what we were supposed to do,” Eisenhower senior Vinny Curta said. “Coaches didn’t say much, just, ‘This is on you guys.’ Once we hit some shots, it works for us. We played a lot harder (in the second half).”

Sparked by a 30-point third quarter that featured seven three-pointers, Eisenhower ran away with the South Suburban Red game, winning 85-67 in Burbank.
