The recipe for a T.F. North blowout win was there Wednesday.

Hosting Reavis in a South Suburban crossover, the Meteors watched Reavis lose its leading scorer to a leg injury less than a minute into the game. Then, the Rams lost their starting point guard to foul trouble.

A blowout win in the works for a hot Meteors team? Nope. On this night, T.F. North settled for any win.

Making just enough plays down the stretch to eke out the victory, T.F. North held on for a no-style-points 43-33 win in Calumet City.
