If you’re a fan of Notorious R.B.G., the popular Tumblr that pays tribute to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, you’re in luck. There’s a Ginsburg biography in the works from the same people who created it.
It’ll be titled Notorious R.B.G.: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and be co-authored by blog creator Shana Knizhnik and MSNBC’s Irin Carmon.
Carmon told NYMag.com the biography be a celebration of Ginsburg’s “life and role in the women’s movement.”
The book is due out in the fall and is aimed at “anyone who loves R.B.G., especially young women who might go off their birth control so they can have their own Ruth Baby Ginsburg,” Carmon said.
Ginsburg gained quite a bit of notoriety after her blistering dissent of the Hobby Lobby ruling, where she wrote “in a decision of startling breadth,” it allows corporations to opt out of virtually any law they find “incompatible with their sincerely held religious beliefs.”
Julia Cheiffetz, executive editor of the HarperCollins imprint Dey Street Books, which will be publishing the book, told the Washington Post the book will do some deep digging on Ginsburg’s life; it’s unclear whether Ginsburg will sit down with the writers.
But Ginsburg is a fan of the Tumblr.

And she’s been known to give out some of the Notorious R.B.G. shirts bearing her likeness.
