In his first season in the Windy City, Cubs manager Joe Maddon was named NL Manger of the Year after leading Chicago to a 97-win season.

It’s the third time Maddon has received the award. With nine first-place votes, he beat out St. Louis’ Mike Matheny and the Mets’ Terry Collins.
