Other than occasionally whining about NBA refs, Pau Gasol rarely has an unkind word for anyone.

The Bulls center had nice things to say about Kobe Bryant after the Lakers superstar announced that this will be his final season.

Gasol played seven seasons with Bryant in Los Angeles, winning NBA titles together in 2009 and 2010.

When Gasol returned to Los Angeles last season for the first time since leaving the Bulls, Kobe showed up to the game to greet his friend despite having shoulder surgery the day before.
