The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have cut former Bears cornerback Tim Jennings after signing him two months ago.

A two-time pro bowler with the Bears, Jennings saw limited action in six games with the Bucs and coach Lovie Smith this season. The 31-year-old corner had 12 tackles and a fumble recovery.

The Bears were still on the hook to pay Jennings $4.4 million—minus what the Bucs paid him—for this season.

Last offseason, Jennings was arrested for a DUI in January and reached a plea deal in July. The Bears cut Jennings before the season.
