A 16-year-old boy was shot in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side Tuesday night.

The teen was shot in the leg about 8:50 p.m. in the 2900 block of West 38th Street, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
