In the morning, the President will depart Los Angeles, California en route Phoenix, Arizona. The departure from Los Angeles International Airport and the arrival at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport are open to pre-credentialed media.
In Arizona, the President will visit the Phoenix VA Medical Center, where he will be briefed on the progress made to improve the VA’s ability to serve veterans in a timely and effective manner, areas where more progress is needed, and further steps that are planned. There will be a pool spray at the bottom of this briefing.
In the afternoon, the President will depart Phoenix, Arizona en route Washington, DC. The departure from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is open to pre-credentialed media, and the arrival on the South Lawn is open press.
