Boy, 14, shot in Woodlawn

A 14-year-old boy was shot Friday evening in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

The boy was shot in the lower leg about 6:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of East 61st Street, police said.

He was taken in good condition toComer Children’s Hospital, police said.

A police source said the boy is a documented gang member.
