A Chicago-bound plane landed safely at O’Hare Airport after experiencing mechanical problems, aviation officials said.

GoJet flight No. 3645 — coming in from Grand Rapids, Michigan — touched down without incident, said Chicago Department of Aviation spokeswoman Karen Pride.

Firefighters were on hand as a precaution.

“There was a warning light that there was a problem with the landing gear,” Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford said.

According to GoJet, there were 37 passengers and four crew members on board, and all were unharmed and were able to leave through the main cabin door.

GoJet said the flight “experienced a partial gear-up landing.”

It touched down about 20 minutes after its scheduled landing time of 3 p.m.
