A 25-year-old man was hospitalized ater being shot in the leg in a drive-by shooting Saturday afternoon in Chatham on Chicago’s South Side.

It happened just after 1 p.m., according to the police, who said the man was standing outside in the 700 block of East 93rd Street when a black, four-door vehicle drove past, and someone inside opened fire.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
