A woman was shot while riding in a taxi early Sunday in the Wicker Park neighborhood on the North Side.
The 35-year-old was shot in an alley in the 1200 block of North Damen at 2:30 a.m., police said.
She was taken to Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
A police source said the woman was inside a taxi at the time of the shooting.
Additional details were not immediately known.
