A 23-year-old man was shot Saturday morning in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.
About 11:30 a.m., the man was standing outside when two men came out of a gangway across the street and fired shots, striking the man once in the left hip, police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he is listed in good condition.
