One hurt in Austin shooting

A man was shot in the West Side Austin neighborhood on Saturday evening.

The 19-year-old showed up about 7:10 p.m. at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park with a gunshot wound to the right arm, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

He told investigators the shooting happened in the 4600 block of West Erie, Alfaro said.

His condition was not available early Sunday, and police said he was being uncooperative.
