A group of armed robbers struck twice within just a few minutes last week in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood.

The first robbery happened at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of North Hamlin; the second just three minutes later in the 3800 block of West Chicago, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

Three males approached each victim, and one pulled out a handgun, demanding money and property, police said.

Anyone with information should call Area North detectives at (312) 744-8263.
