Man shot in Chicago Lawn

A man was shot Saturday night in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The man, 30, was walking in the 6100 block of South Rockwell about 10 p.m. when a male standing on the corner fired shots in his direction, police said. The shooter then ran away westbound.

The man was shot in the foot and taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
