Two men were shot inside a vehicle early Sunday in Englewood.

The men were in a vehicle heading southbound in the 5800 block of South Princeton about 4:20 a.m. when a dark-colored vehicle pulled up and someone got out and fired shots, police said.

The men drove to Saint Bernard Hospital, where their conditions stabilized, police said. One man, 26, was shot in the back and leg and the other man, 29, was shot in the leg.

Police said the younger man is a documented gang member and the shooting may be gang-related.

The men, 29 and 38, were near the sidewalk about 5 p.m. in the 5500 block of South Bishop Street when they pulled out a gun and fired shots at each other.
