A 25-year-old man was shot early Tuesday in the Portage Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The man was shot multiple times in the upper torso at 12:15 a.m. in the 4200 block of North Milwaukee, police said.

He was dropped off to Community First Medical Center, then transferred to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said. His condition had stabilized.
