Man hurt in Austin shooting

A 22-year-old man was shot in the foot on Wednesday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

He showed up about 1:45 p.m. at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park and told investigators the shooting happened in the 5500 block of West Washington, police said.

Further details weren’t available. He was listed in good condition, police said.
