Grant’s softball team has played at The Dome at the Ballpark at Rosemont three years in a row now, and that trend figures to continue.

“We love playing in the dome,” Grant’s Kenzie Sancken said. “It’s freezing when you’re playing outside at this time of year. Everybody likes to be warm and get a few games under our belt before we have to play out in the cold all the time.”

The Bulldogs got two games in on Thursday, beating Woodstock North 7-0 behind pitcher Hannah McCaall and rolling past Waukegan 13-3.
