After asking around the 24-team Marist Invitational about the player who stood out the most, the majority of coaches didn’t hesitate naming Naperville Central’s Jack Burton.

It’s no wonder.

The field simply didn’t have an answer for the 6-foot-4 outside hitter.

In the championship match, Burton attacked from all over the court and totaled 11 kills and a whopping eight aces as Naperville Central downed Benet 25-15, 25-17 for Saturday’s tournament title.
