A man was shot and seriously wounded in the West Garfield Park neighborhood Tuesday evening.
About 5:30 p.m., the 19-year-old was standing on a porch in the 4000 block of West Wilcox when he was shot in the left leg, police said.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.
