SHARE OPRF prevents Leyden from springing another playoff upset

Oak Park-River Forest came into its Leyden Regional semifinal game Tuesday against the host Eagles looking to exorcise some demons.

The Huskies were seeded No. 3 in last year’s Class 4A sectional, but lost to No. 14-seeded Lake Park on the same East Leyden court.

There was no repeat this year, as the No. 8 Huskies started hot and took care of business in a 66-43 victory over No. 10 Leyden.
