Barrington d. Rolling Meadows 25-21, 25-11: The Broncos saw Josh Babicz record five kills and Joe Roeckell four kills. Noah Ricchetti had an all-around performance of 18 assists and eight digs.

Elk Grove d. Palatine 25-22, 25-15: Ray Kraus was generous to his teammates, dishing out 20 assists for the Grenadiers (5-1). Kevin Wickstrom and Sam Jasutis each tallied seven kills. Jasutis also added two blocks.

Hersey d. Schaumburg 25-17, 25-11: Bart Migus led the Huskies with eight kills and six digs while Peter Wesolowski was the floor general, tallying 16 assists and five blocks. Matt Hopkins added three kills and six blocks.

Joliet Catholic d. Oak Forest 25-15, 25-19: Blake Reardon had a monster 15-kill performance for the Hilltoppers. Aron Goeken moved the ball around for 28 assists while Ben Gabor chipped in six kills.

Lincoln Way-North d. Oak Lawn 25-11, 25-14: Ethan Klosak helped carry Lincoln-Way North (4-3) to the win with eight kills.

Lindblom d. Brooks 18-25, 25-15, 25-20: Tavis Thompson (six kills) and Cush Smith (three kills, three blocks) helped Linblom knock off Brooks.

Kelly d. Hancock 25-23, 25-19: Zilin Ruan led the attack with 13 kills while Alex Ayala spread around 11 assists in the win for Kelly (2-0).

Northside d. Schurz 10-25, 26-24, 25-18: Christian Nuez and Artur Kozlowski each finished with 12 kills for Northside. Dan Coleman ground out 17 digs while Griffin Cook dished out an impressive 30 assists.
