More than 200 flights have been canceled at Chicago’s airports Thursday because of a winter storm hitting the East Coast.

As of 11 a.m., more than 200 flights had been canceled at O’Hare International Airport, according to the city’s Department of Aviation. Flights to the East Coast are delayed up to 50 minutes.

At Midway, more than 30 flights have been canceled and airlines are reporting minor delays.

Travelers are advised to check their flight status with the airlines.
