What could Rob Ford buy with his eBay proceeds?

Former Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is now a lot richer thanks to some ridiculous bidding on eBay for one of the most obnoxious ties a politician has ever worn in public.

A total of 111 bids were put on the tie, during the auction, which ended Wednesday and closed out at $16,100 (Canadian dollars, of course).

In the auction details, Ford described it as an “original piece, not a reproduction — there is only one of these in existence.”

That’s true, if he means it’s the only one in existence that has been worn by a former Mayor of Toronto with a history of substance abuse.

Because now, there’s another one of the ties for sale, at a much lower cost.

Ford’s auction also included some other gems.

The pajama pants he proudly says he was “seen wearing on a shopping trip to Wal-Mart” sold for $660. And his Saskatchewan Roughriders jersey went for $1,550.

Ford has said 10 percent of the proceeds are going towards research and care facilities for treating Liposarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Ford was diagnosed with it in 2014.

Taking out ebay’s commission, then the 10 percent of the proceeds he’ll donate, Ford is left with $14,831 from the three items.

What could Ford buy with that?

• Approximately 184 grams of crack, according to data from CBC News.
• 529 replica ties like the “only one in existence” he sold for a killing.
• 1,290 six-packs of Molson from Toronto liquor store LCBO.
• Season tickets to the CFL’s Sasketchewan Roughriders for himself and 21 of his closest friends.
• 3,955 burgers at the Steak Queen, the same restaurant where he was caught on camera completely blitzed out of his mind.
