Except for one tweet, Hillary Clinton hasn’t spoken publicly about the controversy surrounding her private email account at the State Department, but that soon will change.
Politico reports that Clinton is “likely to hold a press conference in New York in the next several days to answer reporters’ questions,” according to three people close to Clinton.
I want the public to see my email. I asked State to release them. They said they will review them for release as soon as possible.

Clinton has come under harsh criticism over the account, and on Monday she avoided answering questions at an event involving her No Ceilings project at the Clinton Foundation.
It also was revealed on Monday that President Barack Obama had personally exchanged emails with Clinton on her private account during her time as secretary of state. Obama had previously said he was only became aware of the account “through news reports.”
