Police issued an alert Sunday after burglars targeted several stores in Humboldt Park strip mall on the West Side.

The burglaries happened in the strip mall at 800 N. Kedzie about 6 a.m. on Sunday, according to a community alert from Area North detectives.

The suspects, described only as black males, got out of vans and used garbage cans to conceal and carry the stolen items, police said.
