Lou Holtz is 78. Still, when it comes to inspirational speeches, he can bring it.

He’s had experience. The former South Carolina, Notre Dame, Minnesota, Arkansas, New York Jets, North Carolina State and William & Mary head coach gave a pep talk this week to the Texas football team.

The Longhorns looked pretty disinterested in the septuagenarian’s lecture until he pulled off an amazing magic trick [begins at 3:25 mark].

The ESPN analyst also told players that winning a championship would keep them happy for a lifetime. Holtz’ only national title came in 1988 at Notre Dame.
