Man shot in South Loop

A 27-year-old man was shot in the chest early Saturday in South Loop neighborhood.

About 1:30 a.m., the man was inside an SUV in the 2100 block of South Wabash when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

His friends took him to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
