Two shot in Humboldt Park

Two men were shot in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side early Saturday.

About 4:50 a.m., the two men were walking out of a home in the 800 block of North Mozart when a black- or green-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee pulled up and someone inside yelled gang slogans and opened fire, police said. The Cherokee then drove north on Mozart.

Both men were taken to Norwegian-American Hospital. One man, 31, was shot in the abdomen, while the other man, 33, was shot in the upper right arm, police said. Both were listed in good condition.
