One man was shot and two others were battered during a fight with rival gang members early Sunday in the South Side Brighton Park neighborhood.

The three men were in the 4200 block of South Kedzie about 12:10 a.m. when they encountered a group who yelled gang slogans and a fight broke out, police said.

During the fight, shots were fired and a 22-year-old man was shot multiple times, police said. He was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.

Two other men, ages 21 and 24, were beat up and taken in good condition to Saint Anthony Hospital, police said.
