A man was shot Monday night in the South Chicago neighborhood.

The 19-year-old man was shot in the lower right leg at 11:06 p.m. in the 8700 block of South Saginaw, police News Affairs Sgt. Al Stinites said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, Stinites said.
