Man shot in South Chicago

A man was shot in the South Chicago neighborhood Monday night.

About 9:05 p.m., the 18-year-old was shot in the leg while he was in the 8700 block of South Saginaw, said police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer, citing preliminary information.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
