Oswego’s Dominick Lukowski only needed one word to sum it up.

“Vengeance,” he said.

The rivalry between the Panthers and Oswego East has been lopsided the past two seasons, with East winning all six Southwest Prairie Conference games. Oswego was eager to tip the scales back in its favor Tuesday in the first of a three-game series.

It took an extra inning and a comeback from an early three-run deficit, but Lukowski went 4-for-4 and the Panthers prevailed with a wild 6-5 win.
