Male shot in West Englewood

A male was shot in the West Englewood neighborhood Wednesday night.

About 10 p.m., the male — whose age was not immediately known — was shot while outside in the 5700 block of South Bishop, police said.

He was taken to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg, but his condition was not known, police said.
