A man was charged with DUI after he rear-ended a Chicago Police squad car — injuring two officers — early Sunday in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood.

Brian Kemp, 56, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and was issued traffic citations, according to Chicago Police.

The officers were in a marked squad car, parked in the 6800 block of South Western, when Kemp rear-ended the vehicle at 1:50 a.m., police said.

The officers were treated for minor injuries at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and released, police said.

Kemp was treated at Holy Cross Hospital and taken into custody, police said. Court information was not immediately available.
