Stanley Cup playoff odds: Blackhawks 7-1 to claim Cup

It’s a crowded field of challengers for the Stanley Cup, with several teams sporting realistic chances of raising the trophy.

The New York Rangers open the playoffs as 11-to-2 favorites, according to the oddsmakers at mytopsportsbooks.com.

The Blackhawks are next in line at 7-to-1, ahead of the Ducks (8-1), Blues (8-1), Canadiens (9-1), Wild (10-1) and Predators (10-1).

The Hawks and Predators begin their first-round playoff series at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
