It didn’t take long for the Barrington girls soccer team to exert its superiority in a 4-2 win over Buffalo Grove on Wednesday night.

Barrington senior striker Jenna Szczesny scoring two first-half goals was no surprise. But sophomore midfielder Soph Spinell matched Szczesny’s production, tallying two first-half goals of her own as Barrington (6-0-2) led 4-1 at the break. The lead proved insurmountable as the Fillies won a Mid-Suburban League crossover game on the turf at Buffalo Grove’s Grant Blaney Stadium.
