SHARE Man hurt in Gage Park shooting

A 20-year-old man was shot multiple times in the Southwest Side Gage Park neighborhood early Wednesday.

He was walking about 1:10 a.m. in the 5000 block of South Western when he heard shots and realized he was struck, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, Greer said.
