The Lake Forest varsity baseball team continues to play with confidence as it nears the midpoint of the season.

The Scouts’ latest victim was Carmel on Thursday night. After falling behind by two after one inning, the Scouts rallied to beat the Corsairs, 8-4, in a nonconference game. Lake Forest remains unbeaten at 12-0 and is 4-0 in North Suburban Lake play.
