A 27-year-old man was shot while driving Friday afternoon in the Washington Heights neighborhood.

About 12:30 p.m., the man was driving in the 500 block of West 104th when “he heard shots and felt pain,” police said.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the back and drove himself to Roseland Community Hospital, where his condition stabilized.
