A woman was stabbed to death early Saturday in northwest Indiana.
Samantha J. Fleming, 23, was pronounced dead at 2:31 a.m. in the 1900 block of Cleveland Street in Gary, Ind., according to a statement from the Lake County, Ind., coroner’s office.
Fleming, of the 0-100 block of Claire Street in Anderson, Ind., had suffered stab wounds and her death was ruled a homicide, the coroner’s office said.
Gary police could not immediately be reached for further details on the incident.
