Police were questioning a person of interest early Sunday after a man was shot Saturday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 24-year-old was shot in the shoulder about 3:45 p.m. during an argument with another man in the 1400 block of North Massasoit, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Police said a 21-year-old man is being questioned in connection with the shooting.
