SHARE Three home burglaries reported in Chinatown

Police are warning about three recent home burglaries in the Chinatown neighborhood on the Near South Side.

The first burglary happened about 12:46 p.m. March 24 in the 200 block of West 19th Street, police said.

Another happened March 26 in the 200 block of West 22nd Place, sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., police said. A third burglary happened Sunday in the 1900 block of South Wells, between 11 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Residents should keep the perimeters of their properties well-lit and keep doors and windows secured, police said.
