A 25-year-old man was killed and another was injured after a shooting early Tuesday in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side, police said.

About 2:20 a.m., the man was shot multiple times as he drove his vehicle in the 400 block of East 47th Street, police said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Also shot was a 26-year-old passenger, who was shot in the back and also suffered a graze wound to the neck, police said. He showed up Provident Hospital, but was later transferred to Stroger Hospital, where his condition had stabilized.
